Exclude White Dwarves from Jet-Cone Boost routes

In Galaxy Map's Route Settings, when you check Fastest Routes, you can also check Use Jet-Cone Boost. Unfortunately, this also takes White Dwarves into account, which actually increases your travel time if you scoop them up.

Please, give us the option to exclude White Dwarves from routing while allowing for Neutron Stars.

Ideally, an option to exclude Neutrons which are not the primary star of the system. It would be nice to be able to toggle between SCO-ing to another star or making more jumps to the next system.

Possibly because White Dwarf boosts are less effective than Neutron boosts.
Oh, that would explain why I make around 150ly jumps despite travelling 5000ly and then sometimes making 320+ or something.

I didn't pay attention what kind of star I'm at.
I'll pay attention to this next time.

White Dwarves add 50% to your range. The time you spend scooping one is better used on more normal jumps.
Neutron Stars add 350%. If you're not slow, it actually saves time.

Heh, you are probably right but I always scoop them anyway. Giving them large enough bonus to make time spent scooping worthwhile would be the most elegant solution, I think. At least it seems like the really dangerous ones with cones that barely reach out of the exclusion zone have disappeared.

White Dwarves can do worse than just stalling you if you approach the wrong one... Perhaps the only real and immediate danger left in Elite Dangerous exploration.

The ones where the jets barely extend past the exclusion zone? Everyone should get to experience those at least once 🤣

Also black holes should actively pull you in when you get close enough and permanently delete your commander because the rescue rangers ain't gonna pull you out 🫠🫠🫠

Unless White Dwarves get buffed to at least +150% (2.5x jump), I'd prefer to filter them out.
A good explorer ship can jump from Neutron to Neutron without any jumps in-between. Anyway, the in-game long-range route plotter is obsolete since the following site exists:
I believe the main reason is White Dwarves being taken into account. Having to alt-tab and use a 3rd party website to move faster is a bit... disappointing?

Do you mean it overrides the galaxy map star filter, e.g. if I have excluded white dwarfs (and selected the option to apply to route) I cannot remember route plotting putting me in the path of a WD. I might be wrong though.

It's been a long while since I've been on a proper long exploration trip, but I've done many in my time. I don't remember the router in the black ever spontaneously giving me WD boosts while quite frequently routing me through NS, especially while in denser ares of the galaxy. I don't think I've even seen many WDs in the black except for those I specifically sought out, like the famous ringed ones. Feels to me like WDs are a bubble thing and NS are not, except for Jackson's Lighthouse. There are some secondary NS, of course, but the router doesn't know about those. I bookmarked them all.

Also, I think since I always use them, I've become quite efficient flying through their cones and 50% already feels like it's almost worth it. Except the really short ones. They require more careful approach. Still I've become so used to those too that I mistakenly previously said they don't exist any more. 100% boost would be enough, IMO.
