Exhibit animals breed like there is no tomorrow!

Is it just me or do Exhibit Animals like snakes and frogs breed like they going to die in the next hour? Most of my income comes from selling these animals as too many means exhibits need to be cleaned every minute!

My advice is to let them breed like crazy if you're in early game and need the funds. Once you're well established, put them on contraceptives & just replace them when they die of old age.

I could live with that with most animals, but the beetles are too much. With a two year life expectancy, you either need to constantly sell some or put them on contraceptives and buy new ones when the old ones have died. So whatever you do, you'll need to manage them constantly. Least fun animals in the game right now...

Tbh, if they were going with real life.. You would have more offspring at a time.

But it can be a bit overwhelming at some times.. Especially when you have multiple exhibits and forgot to check for a little while

I really like this game and have been looking forward to the release for a while but I find myself bored already due to the fast tempo of it all.
It seems that all I do is sell or release animals to keep them from fighting or losing morale. If I let the game run for a few minutes there are new animals that need to be sold...

I would love to have an option to auto manage some groups of animals. You would set the ideal group size, and composition, and the game would sell any individuals over that limit.

I agree that exhibit animals (atleast the frog and cockroach) breed a lot, but I usually don't mind. At least it is easy to mass toss them into the trading center and then mass (kind of) sell them. And the poor critters, the exhibit animals don't get the "avoid inbreeding" love that I am a stickler for with the habitat animals.

I don't mind, it's actually what got me out of debt in my second zoo. When I reach a point where I don't need to sell them anymore I'll just put them on contraceptives and be done with it.

Yes, I've tried that as well but then you're left with empty exhibits instead since most exhibition species have a fairly short life span.

Those exhibit animals are great for CC. This is the opposite of a problem. Just release the baby batches and keep it going as long as you can.

I love the breeding pace of the spiders the most as they live very long. I also struggle with the beetles because of their short life span.

I don't seem able to release these for CC. I only get a cash option. In the exhibit they show up as adults, but in the trade center they show as young adults. Is there a certain age they have to be to release for CC? I have spiders, scorpions, and gila monsters.
