I think I am quite ready for another adventure.. The goals are defined, just last look here and there, last pre-flight checks with Lori Jameson - our best technician in Shinrarta Dezhra system. After all of this is done, the actual departure is going to happen later today or tomorrow..
The Goal
When I started investigating the area of the Galaxy where latitude coordinates go heavily into "minus", I came across a couple of really nice threads/stories about distant system 3 Geminorum. The origin of the system is apparently quite unusual and the surroundings equally mysterious.. decided very quickly: I gotta go there and see it with my own eyes.. as you know me a bit already, I have some hidden agenda but it will be revealed in later stages.. as always, I wanna take some good shots
Pre-expedition Research
Learning from last expedition "mistakes", this time I really spent hours studying the maps and bookmarking the milestones for the potential route.. The area I am going to looks 3 times more dangerous and difficult to navigate than surroundings of Beagle Point or Semotus Beacon.. BTW, just learned in a hard way, that you can have only limited number of bookmarks.. seems to be close to 100.. and that's it

The Ship
I think "Rocinante" is in a better shape than ever.. I replaced 3A overcharged power plant with 2D overcharged.. did not give me much in a jump range, but the ship is now eco-friendly
Another thing, I decided for this particular trip to take an additional fuel tank. I am not gonna fill it up until the situation requires, but the area where I am going will not give me just a "safe path" on the alley of scoopable stars.. hope this is not a mistake..
