Congrats all the same. Epic journey, but why were you forced into a FDev teleport the last 7KLY? Would like to know as I intend on doing something similar myself soon.

The Powerplay 1.3 update introduced a problem where a Cmdr could be dropped mid-jump. When signing back in, there was a chance of "unable to load Commander data" which stopped you dead in your tracks. The first time happened on the night of the update and took intervention by FDev CS to get me back in game 3 systems previously.
FDev brought in a fix of sorts. If the server detects the error I mentioned, it automatically reverts you to the last system you docked at.
I'll say that again. No matter where you are in the galaxy, if this error hit you YOU'RE JUMPED BACK TO YOUR LAST STATION! In my case, I was already heading back in, but got jumped back to my last station... Xi-2 Lupi from mid February.
Now I was upset about it, but I decided to make the most of it and get on with buying upgraded armour and shields to make the (roundabout) journey to Lembava.
Thanks for the messages everyone. I'm not the first to hit Elite and it would be great to hear from anyone else who makes Elite.
