Im having real issues downloading captains log from your site, i get about .5 Mb into the download and get a network failed error. Ive tried chrome, mozilla and even Internet explorer, all adblockers are disabled and even uninstalled. I can download other files but only get this when trying from your site. Any suggestions?

Could be the Wordpress plugin I'm using to serve files (I wanted to be able to have a count of downloads)
I'll look for a different way of serving files (and to be able to count downloads)
In the meantime, can you PM me your email address and I'll email you the installer? It's only about 17MB which nowadays shouldn't be a problem.

I found that the "Estimated All System Value" is different from the total of the db.
I have exported the entire db to cvs file, opened the cvs file in excel and, as you can see the totals are different. The number of jumps are right (946)

These figures are all estimates so take 'em with a galactic pinch of salt
Can't explain why the CSV figures differ from the in-app figures... unless... okay it may be this;
When I do the initial loading of the database in CL, I keep note of system names that are processed, so that I don't count the same system twice in the stats (don't want to be adding up the values for the same system more than once in the stats, for example).
I don't recall ever adding similar code to the CSV output function, so there's the possibility that the CSV figures are higher due to you having visited the same systems more than one time in your list of jumps, and I'm just blindly adding figures to the total sums.
Sounds plausible anyway - I'll take a look at that once I get the time.

I have just installed CL. It only says "parsing logs". Is this a normal state? How do things "happen" in CL? I've jumped between systems but nothing appears to happen in CL? How do I know it if it works?
Edit: I've found that I have to select the default DB i configure. Now I see my recent jumps. But how about thoose since dec 20? "Scan all netlogs" does not add thoose.
Edit2: Ok, never mind, I'll guess I did not have "verbose logging" activated....

Looks like you don't have write permission for the dtabase file?
Or it can't find the DB file?
Try reconfiguring CL by removing the captainslog.cfg file and/or the captainslog.ini file - each lcoated in %LOCALAPPDATA%\CaptainsLog

I decided I wanted to look up which systems I had found the ELW's in, to then look at the date stamp for when I found them (basically couldn't remember if they were all in one day or not). I stopped adding notes a while back figuring the app records everything anyway and I had a lot of catch up to do so time is key.
Anyway, it seems the search box is limited to text I've entered, unless I'm missing something? So my feature request is to filter the log for system containing the planet/star type you click on in the statistics tab (there'll need to be a show all/cancel filter option to clear I guess)

Yeah, I've had an idea for such a feature for a while now - just.... time, and burnout, and a wish to play the game for a change
What you can do in the meantime though, is to export your DB to a CSV file - load it up in Excel or LibreOffice Calc, and search/filter for Earth-like World
