Are there any tips for finding the planets in an unexplored system?

I have been flying around Apoyoto which has 2 stars and 3 planets, I can only find the main star (nav point) and the two planets the orbit that star. For the life of me I cannot find the other stuff in the system.

Any tips?

Yes, planets and stars will shift against the field of stars while one travels in Supercruise.

Thanks for the video, makes sense, its still like a needle in a haystack though lol. At least there is some methodolgoy I can try now.
