Extend the x3 materials rule to missions rewards

How about the engineers themselves giving missions rewarding these items? Missions that both raise rep and give you the commodities you need. That way, you can focus on them if you wish.

I love that. Then we can remove commodity rewards from missions elsewhere! That way Engineers can actually be ignored, rather than always intrude...
 
Sounds more like a job than a game.

It's called a game... That thing you play... But yeah, I forget, instant gratification generation.

They are going to take 10 years or more hopefully to make this game, but I forgot everyone wants everything instantly and the greatest MMO's take time to get what you want.

An MMO is supposed to take time and you are most certainly not supposed to get to end game ships like the Conda et al in less than a week.
