External IP's

So after the seeing the stream, I thought about other IP's and what I'd love to from PC, seen as they're really amazing artists and genius idea creationists, is some sort of collaboration with external IP's. I know they want to add their own IP's which is a great idea too. It just had me thinking when I saw the scifi concepts, what if they had a deal with the studios that made Alien, so we could have some H.R. Giger looking paths and Facehugger lighting.

I know Atari are doing the same with RCTW, whether that will see the light of day, I'm not sure now. But I think the art direction that PC has is absolutely spot on and will carry weight with external companies.

I get what you mean, but I prefer that the Devs of Planet Coaster are taking the time to come up with original ideas and themes that you can then weave your own unique narratives into, instead of just seeking investment deals from companies a gain extra cash and ultimately have less work to do on there theming. Feels like a bit of a cop out on Atari's side. Although that does seem to be what we've come to expect from RCTW

No that's isnt what I mean. I want them to continue with internal IP's, they're genius. But I'd also like to see some collaboration with studiios, where they get to explore more of the mythos of those IP's too. Nothing stopping them creating new ideas within an IP, in fact that's what Atari should be doing (but won't, they'll just render pre-existing items).
