External view on a Mac Keyboard

Hi all

I am using windows 7 64 bit under bootcamp on my MBP to play Elite. I have a mac keyboard and the external view short cut cartel alt space doesn't work anyone found out how to do this on a mac keyboard?

Check you have a key bound to it under Controls in the menu. It's possible that other bindings may interfere with it, especially when docked, as the Space key is normally mapped to other bindings as well. FYI, I run under bootcamp on a Mac Pro and it works fine for me. I changed the binding the the +- button under the Esc key for convenience.

I like that key to enable headlook mode; perhaps it's possible to use a key combination, e.g. shift and that key? I didn't notice any binding option for the external view camera on my quick glance through last night, but I'll have a more thorough look tonight, could easily have missed it.

Yeah, it is in there somewhere. :) It was initially hard coded in the beta but they later added a key bind. Pretty sure you can use combinations and as you already use that button for headlook which isn't totally unrelated, it would seem like a good idea.
