Well you could jam it to mailslot quite tightly, though thats easier with Anaconda as it has bridge way on top of the ship. And also you can smash it against various obstacles as Cutter really does not want to turn on dime
..or, you know, at all.
When you let the count-down timer below 6 seconds, you can't easily turn around to face the station again because the turning is so slow. You can end up circling the station without ever getting to point at it. You have to fly away from it some distance to give enough room to turn. Also, it has massive drift in normal space, so you have to be more careful when lining up with the slot. You get used to this after some time, so it's not a deal-breaker.
Exposure to grindinium, there is a cure but it is too painful to discuss, lets just say orange spray tan is less embarrassing and easier to get hold of than a medical grade belt sander.
I just equipped an Adder for core mining. Now if only Steam would come back...
