I have a victus laptop 15xxxx ' I enabled the omen gaming hub and the f10 stopped working for screen shots, I think that's when it stopped. Anybody else had this problem? I'm not sure how to switch off the hub. Enabling did seem to help with the frame rates.

You may wish to check that the hub software doesn't use F10 (so stopping the screenie being taken) internally.

Tried the alt f10 also a no go. I will look over the control keys for the hub and see what's up. Are there binding keys in Elite for the f10 and alt f10? I looked and could not see them. I hate too to assume anything. But it seems they can't be changed.
Took 10 seconds of googling, Omen Hub uses F10 for volume up so no doubt it is intercepting all calls to the F10 key. You can change hotkeys in the software.

is this one of the funny laptop that inverts the Fn functions to default to the multimedia keys and have the F-keys on the Fn combinations (or maybe that hub software does that)?
This is one of the reasons I tend to try and avoid custom software from PC vendors, I want my keys to do what I tell them, not what some programmer decides they should do, I mean F10 for volume up, in what world does that make any sense?
It does have the fn key. The fn/f10 is fast fwd. for recordings. Anyway, I was able to use the print screen button, F10 still not useable. My version of omen hub seems to be unchangeable and even with it disabled it is interfering with the F keys. But all is fine got some nice shots with print screen. Thanks for the input I will keep working on it so I will be able to help someone else with this problem. Programs trying to think for you is a pain for sure, unless you don't notice it. Ignorance is bliss.
Not sure if your aware but alt+F10 for hirez screen shots only works in solo, private etc. doesn't work in open. Butttt, in those modes alt+F10 should work without being intercepted by any other software.

Just for future info, my fn/f5 is mute fn/f6 is volume - and fn/f7 is volume+ all still work. fn/f8 is rewind fn/f9 is play pause and fn/10 is fast fwd. The volume keys all still work as is. I haven't found a use yet for the others. I will try both the f10 and alt/f10 in solo when I go into the black tonight. You may have found the problem I will keep my fingers crossed. Thank-you all for the input with your help my glitch will be cured.

I had a similar problem where the culprit was in GeForce Experience settings "toggle instant replay" Alt+F10 where I changed it to something else, worked fine after i changing it in GeForce Experience.
For reasons unkown, to me at least, f10 is hard coded. i took a look through the bindings file in an editor once and couldn't find any way of changing it.
