FacetrackNOIR Windows 10 Tech Preview

Hi.

As anyone managed to get FacetrackNoIR working with ED under the Windows 10 Tech Preview?
FacetrackNOIR works fine and detects the game, but there is no tracking in-game :(

Cheers.

I've getting a DirectX issue with the Input dll when I attempt to start. I did a clean install of the latest Win 10 Preview release and it has found my NVidia card. Anyone got suggestions for future reference?

Hi,

Anyone following this still?

I can't get FacetrackNOIR to even work correctly, when i click start it stops right away. after showing my face in the cam section for a second.

Yeah it was the same when I tried it a while ago. It works on 8.1 but crashes after 1-2 seconds on 10. ED was stable for me at least. You could try to use another pc and use the network feature to transmit the data across. I used a VM for this, it works decently but it's nowhere near as good as EDTracker or DK2.

I will wait for the Retail Occulus, but in the mean time i was trying to use FreeTrackNOIR or OpenTrack, but both are failing miserably no matter what I do for win 10.

Ok, so I got OPENTrack to work on my 8.1 work machine with the webcam, and stream it to my gaming PC. There is lag, but, what can you do...

I wonder is I coiuld use multi sources... I saw there was an option in free track for 2 sources, I have 3 web cams facing me. would I be able to reference them all?

I've been able to run opentrack on Win 10 build 10074. There's an issue with the HT face tracker that isn't easily solved. Other trackers seem to work though.

If there are other issues please report them on our bug tracker, hopefully will get fixed before 2.3 final happens.

What is the issue, is there anything i can do to get this working? I want to play ED with face tracking :( bought the PS3 eye specifically for this reason.
