Horizons Failed to communicate with the server!

I had the same thing all yesterday evening (UK time).

The worst bit was that I got screwed out of getting paid Cr250k for a mission.
Took me about 3 goes to get the mission board to work, handed in a mission, got a "could not connect to server" message and then, after a couple more tries, got the mission board up but there was no mission to hand in.
Checked the "Transactions" tab on my ship screen and the mission HAD gone off my list, but I didn't get paid for it.

Contact support - they're very good. You will need to raise a ticket. Give the date/time of the incident.

Now the servers give your maximum and died for some time.

Just keeps getting better.

DNS attack eastern US, ongoing

DNS attack is ongoing throughout the eastern US, reported by CNBC, first attack mitigated by server providers, attacks followed, numerous companies affected by this, apparently, even ED as my connection failed and soon after that I heard the news of the occurrence. Currently Steam is displaying issue detected.

What is most stupid is these DDoS attacks can be stopped at ISP level/backbone, but they won't do it because "net neutrality".
