Maybe the OP should ask a mod to add a [FAKENEWS] or [DINGBAT] tag so more people aren't misled. Or just ask for this sorry tale to be locked and forgotten ...

Looking at the pic provided I would say the lines that indicate speed and the 2 vertical lines that would normally be visible on either side of the canopy to name a few.
I'm pretty sure if Ant had any such knowledge he would do a proper video about it on Youtube.

Thank you for taking the time to clear this up, Obsidian AntI haven't heard anything about that at all. Last comment I saw from Frontier is that they fully support the use of such tools. But who knows! Will see if I can find anything out.
EDIT: Just to clarify. I was talking about third party tools like EDDB and not cheats hah

The ToS is vague/broad enough that they can interpret it however they wish. Plenty of games are far more strict/limited on what sort of alterations are permissible with essentially the same wording in the license.
Not saying I expect anything to change from the status quo, but any changes in what is permissible would be down to Fontier's fiat, and wouldn't require any modification to the terms (though they could modify them), because the terms give them wide latitude.

You didn't just ask for clarification, after getting responses you argued the validity of the claim. Imo that counts as perpetuating a rumor. No worries though all their panic was more over the fear of losing all their advantages

I just added what he was still telling me meanwhile. If this is spreading rumours for you, then okay.

True, but FD have also made various statements over the years about what they consider acceptable in order to clarify those ToS.
So an unsubstantiated comment in a private FB group that 100% percent contradicts Fdev's previous statements about cAPI and log use, that you've neem unable to find any verification for? And I assume you looked before you came here and asked. This clearly smells like bovine excrement and I'm unsure as to how anyone could believe it. A comment from a private FB group? One of the least reliable sources ever. Oh, but it was made by <YouTube User>! Great, it was a comment who makes money when you watch their videos, someone who almost certainly has no access to additional information from FDev. Makes the comment worth about as much as any player making the same claims - about 3/4s of 5/8s of stuff all. The application of some critical thinking skills to this situation would have saved on server wear.
And I'm sure some people would like such a ban, but only because a particular plugin exposes their behaviour.
