Why cry tho?
Could they be doing more than one thing? Isnt Frontier included in the category of “World Premieres”? This can’t be it
Yeah possibly, just saw it and was so disappointed since I couldn't care less about warhammer. Hopefully there's an actual reveal.Could they be doing more than one thing? Isnt Frontier included in the category of “World Premieres”? This can’t be it
Maybe frontier thinks that because SA primates came from Africa, then African primates fill all our needs for them lol.Mammals actually rafted from Africa to South America numerous times - both New World monkeys and caviomorph rodents reached SA this way, and there's even been recent fossils that suggest primates actually arrived on the continent twice, the second family going extinct before the present day. The ocean currents from Africa to South America are fairly great for rafting, and the two continents were slightly closer to one another than they are today back then.
Of course, this doesn't lesson the need for SA primates in any way!
And even then we only have the madrill and no other african monkey with an actual monkey body frame. And all the apes. And no baboon.Maybe frontier thinks that because SA primates came from Africa, then African primates fill all our needs for them lol.
Nothing confirmed just yet. But it's worth noting that PlanCo and PZ were released in November. Planet Zoo was announced ~6 months ahead while PlanCo was announced in January 2015 (albeit under a different name) nearly ~2 years ahead of its actual release. While we’re on the topic of new games, we know a new Planet game is coming in 2024, is it supposed to come in Q4?
My guess would be that this new Planet game comes in Q4 of next year. For Planet Zoo we would get 4 more DLCs until summer of next year. I doubt they would continue DLC for PZ and also have the new game whether it be PC2 or whatever. I obviously would hope we get way more DLCs past next summer for PZ but that’s me being realistic.Nothing confirmed just yet. But it's worth noting that PlanCo and PZ were released in November. That financial report in September is probably going to reveal a thing or two, however vaguely it might be ("new game with Frontier IP coming in Q4"). We'll also get some sort of hint about what the future of Planet Zoo is at that point, I would imagine. And I just simply don't see them cutting DLC out of their plan until they have a new game announced that's a surefire hit (and TBH, I could see them continuing beyond that; PZ is a very different situation compared to PlanCo, IMHO, as far as DLC possibilities go).
Stupid south american monkeys. The smart primates took the scenic route through the land bridge.
That seems like wishful thinking to me. PlanCo DLC possibilities amounted to new rides that were more or less variations on old rides, or other minor attractions. PZ DLC possibilities amount to new animals that are more or less variations on old animals, or, again, other minor attractions. In essence the 'possibility' is the same.PZ is a very different situation compared to PlanCo, IMHO, as far as DLC possibilities go
The whole wishful thinking about birds brings back to planet coasters ideas that water rides were definitely coming. I feel it may be what happens a second time around. That seems like wishful thinking to me. If a new Planet title is indeed coming in 2024 then it's not likely Frontier will continue full support for PZ beyond that point. It's not impossible, obviously, but it's not likely. That doesn't leave us with an enormous amount of options as far as new content is concerned; certainly nothing spectacularly new that would require ongoing support (such as dynamic aquatic habitats or fully fleshed-out aviaries, which, for some reason, many players are still convinced are on the horizon).
If we get Planet Coaster 2 I would be excited to see how much has changed as it would give us an idea for the potential of Planet Zoo 2.Im curious, is anyone here excited for a new Planet game?
Part of me is but the other part isn't. Planet coaster was never really my thing but I loved learning how to build, skills naturally carried over to planet zoo which I'm glad for. If its something new and interesting I'm all for it but not a planet blank 2.Im curious, is anyone here excited for a new Planet game?
Not really. I'm too focused on Planet Zoo for nowIm curious, is anyone here excited for a new Planet game?
If they would release a game like Planet Aquarium or Planet Aviary and it somehow would not be compatible with PZ I would be very dissapointed. I would probably buy it but it would be super weird.I never played planet coaster and theme parks really arent my thing, so a potential Planet coaster 2 doesnt really interests me at all.
If it really is a Planet Aquarium i can see myself checking it out, but i doubt i would chose it over PZ ( unless they make it compatible in some way)
I could really see a Planet Aquarium, but if the Planet Aviary would be real, I would be really upset tbh.If they would release a game like planet aquarium or planet Aviary and it would not be somehow compatible with PZ I would be very dissapointed.
