Fall DLC 2023 Speculation

Honestly an islands pack without a Pelican feels like a seriously missed opportunity.
Eh i dont know.
Id love it being in an islands pack, but its not really an iconic island species, so i cant really call it a missed opportunity.
The point of an island pack is to cover island endemics, atleast for me, and a pelican doesnt really fit that describtion.

Coastal pack, anybody?

  1. Pelican (any)
  2. Sea otter (obligatory semi-clone)
  3. Walrus
  4. Nile crocodile (obligatory mega clone)
  5. Mudskipper (E)

I will change 🐊 to little blue penguin
Yeah croc doesnt really fit as coastal i think. A penguin seems more likely.
Also fiddler or hermit crabs would be awesome exhibit animals

Well if that was the case, carousels should of been a guaranteed addition from planet coaster. I think it takes a tiny bit more effort than copy+paste to port a rig from one game to the other.
Yes, it should in fact, on the other hand the transport system works very similar to that of Planet coaster and also several added things have been transported from PC to PZ, like the shops, the speakers and the screens that can be modified for example, in the case of PZ to JWE2 more than half of the plants are the ones we have in the game and we got it first here, and as for rigs, the dimetrodon and the water monitor share almost the same rig, as well as the mosaurus and the marine crocodile when it dives ir the nothosaurus and the rig of the deep dive water monitor I guess it shouldn't be that easy but I definitely don't think it's hard and it would honestly be a cool addition :)

Part of me is currently really hoping we get another turtle this pack, there's a few good options. What would you want in a Temperate pack turtle wise?
I think soemthing like eastern box turtle would bring something unique and fresh to the exhibits. Not really keen on another semi aquatic turtle to be honest, with the very few exhibit animals we gotta have as much diversity as possible imo

Finally got back into my account. I think I speculated way back early in the thread about a temperate pack and clearly that is still a popular speculation. I like the "shaking and mixing" hint, part of me feels like it's similar to the little blurbs in the Sims loading screens "loading wardrobe, reticulating splines" but secretly I hope for birds. It always feels viable to me because they make sense for a zoo game.

I know "polar" is an option for the pack but as we are following climate map types I'd like to throw out "cool" as an option too, it hits some of those areas that are in between polar and temperate so we could see a blend of animals from both areas in such a pack
