I saw the Discovery there. A nice ship, but I think the CCCP Alexei Leonov (Алексе́й Лео́нов) from the movie 2010 was cooler

I love Firefly. It was one of the greatest shows ever. I love the mix of characters, and the frontier setting is great.

But that horse-ship thing is as ugly as sin.

There was a huge Thunderbird 3 in Blackpool a few years ago (I'm sure you can find images of it yourself)
It also went to Trafalgar Square.

Some very clever people with rendering programs created these over at Shejidan Forum( a C.J.Cherryh fan site). Since I like her books so much I submit this image.

They are carrier ships capable of FTL travel and carry manned fighters that boost ahead at near C speeds to combat enemy ships. It's nearly as interesting a universe as Elite.
