Placing bets that your "exploration trip" was a facade as you honed some mad PvP skills. I will forfeit whatever is in my wallet if you stream yourself luring the sharks in and proceeding to FA Off snipe each of their PPs in turn.

Of course for what the contents of my wallet are worth (I hope you like fluff) I will accept a poorly shot video of a cardboard box with your face pasted on, a few other boxes on fire, and some cheap laser animations. Hell, it would still be worth the chuckle.

I'll try my best to do a summary:

  • Harry Potter was kicked out of SDC.
  • Ziggy writes nice Haiku. He also wants to get ganked and is planning it out.
  • That90skid thinks Open should be the only mode in the game. Of course we all already knew this....
  • JasonBarron thinks everyone cheats and exploits.
  • Ozric wishes he hadn't posted in this thread so he could close it down, now he's stuck here.
  • CMDR Eagleboy surprisingly didn't defend Frontier much in this thread. It was a nice refreshing change of pace.

I think those are pretty much the cliff-notes!

I don't actually believe the kid wasn't just an alt account, as it's the oldest excuse there is going. But in the interests of an intellectual exercise I'll treat it as true :

I hope the father apologized to his kid for spoiling his game by deliberately being a , lets hope the kid grows up to behave better than the father. Poor kid.

True. I though that "gank" stood for when people ganged up to attack someone (single player). Essentially overpower in numbers.

What a load of absolute nonsense.

I've got 8 machines here on one public IP, and another 2 on another public IP, all with their own account (and owners) here at my LAN party.

Do you really think FD will ban ALL accounts from my addresses if someone decides to play naughty?

Thanks Mengy... saved me a lot of time....

I was still with it when everyone was weirdly bothering to post "I don't care"(when they could've just not cared?), but kind of lost track....

I do care in a "ED forum as soap opera" kind of way...

Just Harry go or did others go with him? Shame really....

Does this mean they'll be more than one "bad-man" clique whose adventures I'll need to catch up on in future???

I'm a bit late to the party but I can't help thinking that anything Frontier/or in indeed other players do - that annoys, or extracts "salt" from the people who specialise in extracting "salt" from others can only be a good thing.

Considering FDev made it clear they would punish anyone trying to gain access to private groups, from which they'd been banned, I wouldnt call it nonsense.

Wrong, I think the multiplayer parts of the game should be Open only. Private and Solo are perfectly acceptable game modes for personal progression.

Just thought I'd add this correction.
