Newcomer / Intro Faster Handling on Aphelion - mis-sold engineering mod?

Compare the handling improvement promised (immediately after applying it) in the first picture, to that actually delivered in the second picture (clicking on it later).

Is this a bug? What's going on?

How do you mean? I just cropped the screen shots, but they're the same size in game.
Here they are together, taken from the raw screenshots.
I don't see what difference it makes cropping a few pixels? The variation is huge.

The question is why does the engineer show different increases when you click on the weapon again?

Well, if you give the impression that the images are not the same size then I can't trust the scale.

The latter is Frontier not paying attention to detail again. Even though it is stated that a mod can only be applied once, it shows you what can happen if the mod can be applied again. This happens with all the mods. A less lazy more attentive dev would not display the further upgraded appearance. That doesn't explain the discrepancy though.

You did good. Faster Handling on the Aphelion is a good choice.


If you also add stowed reloading, and use those same 2 mods on an AR50, you will really like how this pairing of weapons on a Dominator suit performs in a CZ.

You can strip shields with the Aphelion and quickly swap to the AR50 to finish off a target. The speed of switching weapons and ADS is amazing.
