Fastest way to make money in Large Ships?

I went from 81% Tycoon to Elite in a weekend running missions in a Python. I tried bulk trading in an Anaconda but A, I was seeing the same two stations over and over and over and B, I didn't budge one % in an evening.
It was laborious and dull, and the reason I got trade Elite with only 216m trading profit

I'm finding that using my 45LY Anaconda for 1st class pax missions is the least boring way to bring in reasonable cash. I'ts a dice roll, but if you're allied with all factions at a high population system, it's easy to do 10Mil/hr.

Occasionally you'll do much better when some high paying stuff hits the board. Recently I did one mission that took about an hour and a half that paid 37 Million.

First Class Sight Seeing is the money maker.

Hah, good recommendation! I'm afraid I'll have to get it sorted out in something else though. The "safest" ship to try it in (and figure out all the dynamics) is one you can easily afford to replace!

If you're unfamiliar with CZ's my own personal experience is that you want to be at either end of the spectrum. If you're not going to be the Alpha killer in there, then you need to fly under the threat radar a bit. My wingmate finds a viper works well if you want to go softly and it's cheap, but personally I find much more safety in being the Alpha - basically, anything that packs a Class 4 hardpoint. When I tackle CZ's with something in the middle of the spectrum, like a FAS, Gunship or a Python, I usually get my butt handed to me.

It used to take 1Bil 15 mil to get Trade Elite

I always said trade Elite is laughable compared to the other two (this was before bus driving contributed towards 'exploration'). I had a spare weekend so there you go. I made over a billion in cash but mission payouts don't count towards trade profit. Although they do count towards trade rank.

it wasn't a moneymaking powerhouse, but I did enjoy dekivering basic meds to outbreak Ag worlds for 1.5M for a full hold in my Corv. Ran missions out from there, to return with meds. Ranked my Courier with that.
