Fastest way to rank up in the Federation?

Quadruple post.. I hope this doesn't get me in trouble!
Anyways, I grinded all day today and got from None all the way to Ensign >.< Man am I exhausted.. I think I really lost track of time, shouldn't have spent this much time in the game XD Ah well, lots of charities are still showing up!
Off to visit Sol for the first time.. Will continue grinding some other time.

Ah, true. Forgive me for that.
I did Tamar missions in the past when i was trying to get Baron for the Clipper.
The missions never showed up to me like they do to others i had to switch a lot!
Lot of times i had to close the game and reopen it.
after 4-5 days i succeedded it.
But anyone who owns Horizons should try HIP 10716, they are frequent.
Some times i can find 5 missions in one bulettin board ( Which is good)
But the switching part of it is really annoying.
Yesterday i got from 25 to 43 in Marquis.
I just wanna get duke.
BTW, HIP 10716 missions really makes you earn credits. i got 30 mils till now.

Same here! Took me quite a few days to rank up to Baron until I decided to head to Cubeo, where there were slightly more charity missions going on. Whereas so far it's taken me about 8-9 hours to get from nothing to Ensign in the Federation. Getting to Duke will be a nightmare unless Frontier changes the system once again and makes it easier in the next update.
Are there more charity missions there?
Charity missions in general have been nerfed. While I'm not sure if they appear less frequently cash based ones seem less common as well as having the donation cost increased to (I think) $250000 to $1.5 mil, not sure how the commodity based ones got changed.
It was a true epic grind beforehand, but at least it was cheap(ish). Now it looks far more expensive and might take months of solid grinding rather then a couple weeks.

As someone who appreciates snark I would love to back you up on your reply. Except... I ran across this post because I was wondering the same exact thing myself. I was not looking for an exploit, not looking for a shortcut, not looking for a handout as your reply to this other players question implies. For me, (and I am assuming this other player was asking something similar) I just wanted to know if maybe there was a way to make all the "earning it" I have been doing by grinding my balls off in this game more efficient and more targeted towards my goal. That's all. To be honest, what I find just a little earksome about this reply is that there seems to be a somewhat arrogant "I have the keys to the mansion plebe..." kind of tone to it. Good for you that you "earned" your way up to what ever status that you hold in a video game... let me repeat myself... a v i d e o g a m e . . . Call me old fashoned but when I think of a community, a certain degree of mentorship comes to mind. Certainly you could be just a tad bit more helpful than being rude to another player. But then again... maybe not...
