General Gameplay Faulty Dinosaur Tracking Implants - new park problem

Your Feature Request / Idea
An idea for a new problem to tackle: we have the map view that shows where they all are, but what if one of those tracking implants stopped working? The game would tell you that STG-005's tracking implant has stopped working, so you know which paddock to start in, but then you have to get in the jeep, and use the rifle to tag your Stegosaurus with a new implant.

Much like dinosaurs have an icon overhead when they're sick (when seen from the jeep), give the un-tagged dinosaur an icon so that it is possible to find them.

Possibly, it could be tied to Sabotage, as well as random chance, so that your disgruntled Division employees might deliberately disable a tracker.

I noticed that whenever multiple dinosaurs get sick at once (due to sabotage poisoning) they're all from the same species...the same could apply here: 1 Stegosaurus tracking implant fails because technology isn't perfect, but if the whole herd's tracking implants fail probably someone's been tinkering with the system.

Would the map show the dinosaur's last known location, or not show it at all?

Would this NEED to be manually done, or could it be automated like healing and medicating? (No tracking implant means rangers can't be told where the dinosaur is, but if manually driving is mandatory for this it can become a really annoying PITA)

Could be done by rangers - you'd just have to locate the dinosaurs for them, same as with sickness.

I like the idea of having to go into the enclosure and locate the animal manually, rather than being able to assign it as a task for a ranger team. Unless the dinosaurs tracker malfunctions after there's been a breakout, then you'd have to locate them in the park itself. Which might be tedious, but also fun. Hide-and-seek with a dino.

Indominus could be particularly likely to have a tracker fault D:

Don't worry, the device didn't fail [big grin]

She clawed it out :O
