Favorite Moments playing Jurassic World Evolution

With Jurassic World Evolution going to be 2 years old within a month. The game has been getting a lot of updates and DLC since launch and I find it to be my go to game whenever I want to wind down from the world. It has been a lot of fun so far and I wish to share some of my favorite moments from playing the game. I hope you like these small snippets!

MY FAVORITE PHOTO

I took this shot recently after patch 1.12. It was when I made an Indoraptor exhibit with the redwood trees, an exhibit I really enjoyed making thanks to the redwood trees, making this exhibit look like a place from the Fallen Kingdom Movie's Lockwood Manor. I did notice that the goat and and indoraptor are aligned to the viewing platform, I went to capture mode and this is what I got. I really enjoyed this photo as this basically is what Jurassic World is to me, a fantasy in which we could exhibit killer dinosaurs to entertained the masses, and I especially love this as it feels like a continuation of Jurassic World, if the Indominus rex never broke out.

FAVORITE DINOSAUR DEATH
Jurassic World Evolution_20200328114013.jpg

This is another funny moment for me when I got a notification that one of my dinosaurs have died. I was especially surprised to see that the proceratosaurus I had died while eating from the meat feeder. Up to this point, I always thought death by old age would occur when dinosaurs were not engaging in anything at the moment. Surprisingly enough, this death was taken during her last meal. I take this picture with two perspectives in mind. She was legitimately aware of her imminent death, and wish to enjoy one last meal, or in a funnier context, this is similar to that one simpsons episode where the steak competition took place, and the champion died from eating too much steak.

FAVORITE GUEST MOMENT
Jurassic World Evolution_20190825124240.jpg

This one took me by surprise during a playthrough in challenge mode. Sometimes, the guests would enter an exhibit whenever a dinosaur would break out, and this is one of those times when I notice that one of my guests had a great hiding spot. Surprisingly, she positioned herself right between the indominus rex's legs, and the dinosaur was not aware of her presence at all. This even happened for a good while now, and only when the hybrid turned around did the guest met her unfortunate demise. I was left wondering if this is an extremely intense moment, or if the hybrid felt like protecting the guest this time around due to a change of heart.

FAVORITE TOUR MOMENT
Jurassic World Evolution_3.jpg

As evident by the watermark, this has been one of my earlier experiences playing the game. I had made a open nature preserve in Nublar and wanted to go around and observe my dinosaurs from a gyrosphere point of view. I was really excited to have seen a lion - hyena dynamic in my park, where my Tyrannosaurus Rex wanted to steal a kill from a pair of Majungasaurus. This has been one of my favorite combat moments in the game as the fight will determine who will claim the torosaurus kill. Needless to say, there is a reason why the Tyrannosaurus Rex is 'King' of the dinosaurs.

FAVORITE MEDICINE MOMENT

This has been a real surprise, and it happened before the 1.12 update with destructible vehicles. In a challenge mode playthrough, I had to quickly cure a hadrosaur from a disease. The funny thing was how at first, I felt like I was in a cartoon show shooting the wrong hadrosaur, that was perfectly in position to hide the sick dinosaur. Alongside that, I also have learned that it is possible for edmontosaurus to hold a grudge. 😂

FAVORITE CLAIRE'S SANCTUARY MOMENT

With the 1.12 update, I was eager to replay Claire's Sanctuary all over again with dinosaurs being a threat to ranger vehicles, and I was not disappointed. I jumped in my seat when this attack happened as I did have a pretty calming past driving the ranger vehicles. I love the implementation of the dinosaur attacking vehicles as it made this campaign a whole lot more entertaining. One other moment I had was during the cure all dinosaurs moment, it used to be rather dull curing I believe 60 different dinosaurs. This time it has been really fun, especially in one part of the playthrough when I was being harassed and chased by an aggravated Stygimoloch, reminds me of an angry ram dishing out some pent up aggression to a nearby vehicle.

FAVORITE "WHAT THE HELL CREEK FORMATION" MOMENT

This will be the funniest thing I have ever got to experience playing Jurassic World Evolution. It was before destructible vehicles, and I am going to remember this forever. With the then recent carnivore pack released, I was excited to try out the camera mode and play around with the procompsognathus. Let me tell you, they were not lying about her being the ancestor to the Tyrannosaurus Rex 😂. For some reason, especially in the end when the vehicle landed, it reminded me of a family pet that got spooked by their own mischief.

FAVORITE JURASSIC PARK MOMENT

With the Return to Jurassic Park DLC, I had a blast playing the game in JP era. It felt really different when compared to a regular JW era gameplay. One thing I do enjoy is how the JP moment really amp up the feeling of danger in a dinosaur themed park. In an Isla Matanceros challenge mode gameplay, I had built a small visitor area and constructed a new Tyrannosaurus Paddock. Due to how the layout of the JP parks are, I had to build a substation to power her fence, and it was away from the center of the park's weather defense system. And lo and behold, when a storm struck my island, that very crucial substation broke. In order to prevent the Tyrannosaurus from breaking out, I got into my jeep and drove as fast as possible to her paddock. When I finally reached that substation, and the moment I fixed it, the Tyrannosaur broke out. My park layout was very narrow in that area, and the Tyrannosaurus was going to attack some nearby ankylosaurs behind me. It was at that moment when I turned around to take aim that they Tyrannosaur took a mad dash towards my vehicle. I genuinely panicked as I could not afford to lose this vehicle (I have velociraptors that were going to break out due to the storm). I kept darting the tyrannosaur as much as possible, to which it thankfully collapsed right in front of the ranger vehicle. I was unable to get a reccording as I had to deal with said raptors, but that has been the most Jurassic Park fun I had in the game! ♥️ 🦖

FAVORITE GENTLE GIANT MOMENT

This is very calming compared to everything else I had so far. Simply put, I love how the Olorotitan is in this game. I do not know if this is programed or not, but I love how the olorotitan walks up to the fence and glances over to observe the guests. Dinosaurs would normally do this, but the Olorotitan is special to me as it is just high enough of a posture to stand and look over the low fencing I used for her exhibit. It reminds me of home improvement's neighbor. Small stuff like these makes this game fun for me.

-----------------------

I had plenty of fun playing this game, and plenty of photos and memories from it too. I hope you find my snippets to be quite entertaining, and I do wish to hear in anyone has got some favorite moments of their own. I genuinely wish to hear your stories. Take care everyone! 😊

love the flying car how'd it happen?
I was able to find out after watching the recording again. So when I was setting the jeep to take a picture of the proceratosaurus fighting the chungkingosaurus, another proceratosaurus was heading towards the jeep. I left the jeep at the very moment the proceratosaurus made contact, and I think it made the jeep be slightly above the proceratosaurus. Due to the new momentum of the jeep suddenly being pushed by the dinosaur, the car was slingshotted in the air. It was an older version of the game where cars would bounce around link ping pong balls, so it caught me by surprise to see it happen.
