FC needs a Jump start - Has anyone got any spark leads ?

Gonna bypass the long version and here's the TL/DR one....

FC given jump coords. Timers run down to zero, I don't get all the hull movement and sounds and my FC doesn't move. Yet in FC Management screen (which you can't access within 30 secs of jump), travel screen shows zeros and in Galaxy Map, any system is shown as Jump Locked. Have tried logging out and back in and have logged completely out and in with Horizons and Vanilla game.

Resolution : Is there a way to get my FC to its next destination or does it require a re-install of my game ?

Use a ship and take off and then land on FC again and it should reset. Mine did. Restarted the countdown again, see what happens this time.

Yeah I'm having this same problem. Scheduled a jump remotely to the ELW I found, counted down and stuck at 0. Found this thread and so I flew 400LY back to the carrier, scheduled another jump, and now I have the "Unknown failure!" message. So jank.

Nevermind, still stuck, I was able to reset everything it but still stuck....

Yeah, that's what happened when I exited from Horizons and logged back into Vanilla. Allowed me to plan a new trip but same, timers down to zero and FC crew had apparently gone on strike.

So now, I'm stuck in a system, surrounded by Threat 7+ Nonhuman emmision sources and the only Thargoid buster I have isn't engineered yet and got wiped by a couple of scouts.

So, as this appears to be a regular occurrence, I'm taking the extreme fix approach of uninstall/reinstall. It's 8:15am and my room temp is already at 29.7 degrees C so while the PC is running, I'll sit outside in the cool :p I'll report back later if this fixes it.

Commander's Log : Final entry....

We made it. We finally have got away from those Thargoid neighbours in HIP 17403.

Got all the visual and audible keys to show the process was working "as intended". All it took was a uninstall and reinstall ( 3 1/2 hrs on Steam). So from a personal view, this looks like a corrupted file or database entry on the players PC and not the server. Whether the server dropped bad data into the players database file, only FDevs can tell. But if you're stuck without jump leads and your FC needs a kick, this appears to be an option.
