FD appreciation thread

So, I've been in since beta 2. took long breaks away from ED because of the(many, if we're being honest) game design flaws, at least from my POV. I won't rehash it here. But..after buying horizons, coming back a few days ago, I see some solid improvement. I want to commend FD for listening to their customers. Thing do seem to be heading in the right direction. I went ahead and cleared my save, so, starting fresh. We can always find fault..but let's have a thread where we list the things FD does right. thanks, FD. I may have issues with many of your decisions..but bravo anyway.

Flight mechanics is one of the things that FD really nailed. They really, really nailed it.
Sound design can never be overrated as it's one of the best damn sound designs ever featured in a game.

I get it...to much positivity the last couple of days...you felt you had to do something.

As for the OP...yep, the development is trucking along nicely as long as people have reasonable expectations of what can be done within the timeframes and with the resources at hand.

It isn't only the game. It's everything in and around it.

I had (and currently have) great times with it, and I really enjoy this community, the community radios (like Lave Radio or Hutton Orbital Radio), the community driven events, the people, the exploration, the formidine mistery, the realism, the lore, the novels...

Elite was in the 80s my chilhood game and Elite

I love nearly everything about this game, they've really made an excellent believable galaxy, and I think that's amazing.

In particular, I am really looking forward to new C2 and C3 engines. The small ships that use them are exactly the ones in need of some help.

I think I've sunk more time into this game than any other even the original Elite. I think that speaks for itself. (It is my favourite video game genre so maybe I'm slightly biased) Yes there is room for improvement (missle & mines buff springs too mind as well as other things) but I'm pretty happy with most of it. Still looking forward to 2.1 though.

Mind if I ask what game your absolute favourite is? Apart from anything related to Elite of course.
