FD please fix your bloody servers

My system has been rock solid for years, but I've been getting stuck in the blue tunnels quite a lot in the last few days. The only times I've had similar issues before is during the beta tests, so I guess it's something to do with server capacity. The devs are working on Odyssey alpha at the moment, so I'd guess that's the cause.

Loads of players are having issues the last few days and it's globally.
Get your facts straight before posting drivel.

Drivel? If you read my posts rather than half reading them and shooting off a response, you'd see that I did indeed comment about global traffic. ED isn't the only game/app having issues. But by all means, go right ahead and blame FDev. Funny how the internet doesn't have unlimited capacity and has recently had some issues with saturation in some major hubs.. Nothing like watching a hop through Singapore adding 50ms, or the Pacific hop adding 70-80ms of latency. It's also odd that I rarely have such issues, especially if they are all FDev's fault, shouldn't everyone have exactly the same issue then?

For those interested, the last Orange Sidewinder I got, I tracked down to my router renewing my DHCP lease.. It was misconfigured.

I get a fair amount of purple pythons when dropping into a wing instance or a wingmate drops into my instance.

Also see occasional blue tunnels and have to CTRL+ALT+Del and restart, blue cobras, mauve adders, etc...

I tried using port forwarding but didn't see much difference.

Some guys have posted that trying to enter SC in a carrier overcrowded system could cause this issue. This is exactly describing my situation as I try to get out of the Dweller's base in Wyrd and my selected system was covered by the planet.

So I'll try to high-wake out once back in the game. I have to admit that I haven't known of this issue/bug yet so I have to apologize to FD for having blamed their server performance.

I'll admit that FDev's netcode isn't entirely innocent here, it does need work. It appears that the wonky netcode is being further impacted by the extra internet traffic that's happening currently.
