Definitely! Looks very impressive, I’d really like to see (and hear) those effects.

On another slightly separate though somewhat related note, when playing on headphones during late evenings, I find that the enter/exit of hyperspace is much, much lauder than the rest of the game (regardless of 'normal' or 'night' setting on the audio page). So much lauder in fact that I have to decrease the volume by half just to avoid ear damage risk everytime I'm going hyperspace.
I'd really appreciate if FD could consider few additional sliders in audio for specific sounds like that or the SRV engine at full-speed as well as the wave scanner, for those of us more sensitive to sudden huge DB hits to our ears.
I think it was Dav, who explained it in a live stream. The actual loading of assets is very short and not a big factor, setting up the instance is, especially if it contains lots of other players.
Also gents keep in mind that the FSD jump is literally a loading screen, you can't expect a gameplay to be added to it since it would then stop being what it is - a loading screen.
Sure, but I mean with everythign that you said, is it even going to be worth it if it's to be minor and limited? You know, squeezing a 'minigame' somewhere just for the sake of being able to do so isn't good enough I think. If there was a good idea behind it that wouldn't grow old after 10 times, then sure, why not I suppose.
Would also be nice if we could change to the external camera like shown here.
Lol, uber-cheesy music but the Hyperspace visuals + exit feel somewhat better than what they are now - they feel more volumetric and abstract instead of having what looks like clearly-definable bodies and light sources. Also exit animation seem smoother than what the game has now. I wish there was some subtle variation in sound and visuals and not the exact same thing everytime. Hardly the biggest problem of Elite at present, but still.
It already is, (relative to something anyways) time spent in hyperspace is relative to the number of assets to be loaded in and your current internet speed...
It needs to be terrifying.
