At first I was not looking forward to vehicular demolition, as it was just going to make medicating dinosaurs and resupplying feeders more tedious than it has any right to be. Now I'm a bit sad that ranger teams are all but useless now that ACU teams can medicate dinosaurs too... BUUUT on the other hand that's how it worked in JPOG (even though dinosaurs were only ever affected by a disease once, and then were forever immune to it once vaccinated), So at least now I wont NEED to go into enclosures AS often unless it's to resupply a feeder (unless ACU's will be able to do that too)
 
In JPOG it actually was a 1HKO.

Question: if we start again older campaigns (Main, Claire) will the new mechanics apply?

And here I am, still waiting for the Tranq-effect having a limited time duration instead of the unlimited effect we currently have in the game. :)

I hope this is included in the update. Tranqing a bunch of dinos in a pen so you can go around doing your "chores" only to have to call transport ACU to shuffle them all around and wake them after would be tedious and silly.

And a tranq limit adds extra danger. Sure you knocked out that trike, but for how long? She might come charging up behind you if you don't keep tabs on her! Ooh!
 
I for one will be very disappointed if this only applies to ranger jeeps. If a tour car is nearby when Rexy breaks out I want her to attack it, and if I'm dumb enough to put a gyrosphere ride in my Spinosaurus paddock I should see her treating it like an all you can eat buffet.
 
This new ranger stuff is great. But they are leaving out 1 major thing and that is a Revive dart option. If you tranq a dino so you can fill a feeder or keep from dying u should be able to fire a revive dart once you're at a safe distance. How did they not think of this?
