I generally felt being able to instantly put down instant fences was a cheap way to exploit the system from the start.

It undermined any actual foreplaning and crisis management, and we do have to acknowledge the existence of security ratings. Unlike with the first game, the fences are a lot sturdier now if you use the appropriate fencing type for a species' enclosure. The majority of the annoyances and problems with tornadoes came down to their frequency and the fact it agitated the dinosaurs which could easily plow their way through a fence and wreak havoc. You'll have more in ways of injured dinosaurs this time around, but that is vastly easier to cope with compared to every species potentially busting out.

Escapes are going to be a bit less common as a result and we will have established more of a medium between JPOG's near impenetrable defenses and JWE's paper fences. I would agree a random number generator (RNG) is likely involved with calculating tornado probability, but you can weigh RNG, so the odds are less likely to happen all that frequently. Further, if we could have a return of the Storm Defense Station as weather tracking, you could anticipate tornadoes similar to how we could in JPOG.

The idea is to replace annoyance with fear, it should be the most terrifying calamity to have to deal with and it will really challenge you.

but will have the additional caveat of stopping your dinosaurs from appearing on the map UI can that happen to the indominus rex when it camouflage in or out of the enclosure?
