Federal Gunship PvP: Dancing Queen! [FA+LS-off]

I like the fact power demands are so high that life support has to be turned off in order to deploy weapons. Pushing the envelope there.

Rinzler, do you really listen to the music while playing???

Okay, serious question: in the first part of the video you engage another CMDR whose status is "Clean" and even though you're shooting the heck out of him you don't become "Wanted," how is that?

Edit: never mind my dig about the music; it kind of grew on me, and by the end of the video I was dancing around the room in my underwear! Btw, great vid, very interesting stuff to consider. As Red mentioned, it was pretty cool seeing you push the envelope with the power. One observation, though, is that all of the fighters stuck around to engage you, the second they decided they'd had enough they easily outran you, or at least it looked that way. More of a tribute to your skill as a pilot then an endorsement of the Gunship.

If I'm at a CG in a wing then I'll generally sit around with teamspeak open in the background, but if I'm flying solo (yay Australian timezone!) then I'll have a playlist going in the background. Fights are so much better with dank beats in the background (and lately I've been partial to eurobeats and electro-swing). I added this particular track afterwards because the title seemed fitting and it's from Initial D.

As for the first guy I fought, he's a PvPer so he has "report crimes against me" switched off like I do.

And yeah, that's the curse of the gunship. Can't masslock what you can chase, and can't chase what you can masslock :(

Quite satisfying to get the absolute maximum out of a ship as is possible! Plus I really like the ambient feel of PvP'ing with the muffled sounds of no life support+pilot breathing sounds.

Hahah, I was actually digging the tunes by the end, which is saying a lot because I'm more of a Country and Western type of guy. Very good video; I always enjoy watching this kind of stuff like a tutorial of sorts. I've had very little experience with PvP, but you guys make it look like a LOT of fun! I'll be flying the CG in Open in an hour or so, maybe I'll run into you:)
