Fence Barrier now has collision :D I havnt checked any of the others yet tho.

It looks like the ribbon fences still dont work. But this is great!. I can now replace all the bins under the ground :D

Edit: The barrier fence is also scalable. Vey nice..
 
It involves a small amount of pathing work but a couple of people have been working out how to use the pathing to stop guests walking through scenery also. It works very very well.

As good as that is, its only a work around as these barriers should have had collision from launch!

Agree in principal, but I also think even with working barriers, the path method does allow a lot of versatility and also saves the scenery-piece-count. That last bit serves console players more of course. Is it just a workaround or is it a valid gameplay strategy?

Keeping the part count down is a very good point. i guess that alone makes it a valid gameplay strategy rather than a work around.
 
i mean cutting path feels naturally more valid than sinking barriers in the floor...but i feel both are good enough, on smaller objects like lamppost i prefer barriers, the same goes for buildings some times, cause of kerbs
 
If we could not only change color but also alpha (transparency) maybe we could make invisible barriers so we can hide the kerbs in the wall
