with picnic umbrellas you can snap them to picnic tables. with car tires you can snap them to cars. I know it's a tiny nitpick but I love creating custom fences for my queues and would love to see that you could snap fences to paths!

Oh yes.. All over this one... Fences snapping to a path edge would be so good please!
Only if you can toggle it off though... I still wish I could toggle it off on bins and benches just so I could have more control over their precise placement...

Only problem, Custom fences wouldn’t snap because their custom not something in the fences category
Weird, i’ve never had snapping on bins and benches. They’ll go in the middle of the path if I want em to.

But they don't when you get close to the edge of the path. You cannot place them something like a meter of the side of the path, as they would still snap.

I agree with the turning off with benches and bins, and fences (if added). Maybe make a forum about it!
I've also had times when I've struggled with snapping when working with placing benches in the middle of a plaza close to one of the "Edge" points which acts as the corner between four sections of path... Or when trying to get exact placement on a path corner in general... (Trying to get it to slide right into place is a pain when it would be nice if we could nudge it into position right where we want it using advanced move...)
Snapping fences sound like a dream right now! I use fence around my paths because they look much better with them!
