Ijn Yamato is about 2 times the size as the anaconda if I had to compare it to a ww2 Japanese ship it would be the shimakaze

May be so but the conda is the only ship that would even remarkly resemble a battleship and I loved the creation of the Yamata even though the Japanese Navy didn't utilize it correctly in it's full potential, I simply wanted to take two things I love combine them together and make the player feel like there a naval juggernaught. So please enjoy the build and nostalgia instead of being a party pooper. You can only utilize the best of what a game will offer when you are making a build and real life likeness. Its the same idea with making Spartan Emile in halo reach, not everything you can equip is correct, it's the nostalgia that makes it fun.

The Yamato is on of my favorite ships ever I just think it's to big for the anaconda. I would love to see a federation capital ship named Yamato though. If anything I would name my anaconda after the German heavy cruiser prinz eugen (my second favorite ship) . Also your link doesn't work

My Nickname for my Conda is Chikuma, WII IJN heavy cruiser with a large float plane hanger, kinda like the Conda with all the firepower mostly up front and it has a hanger, green color scheme is kinda close too lol.

There is a lot of stuff going on in this build. Too much stuff. There are much much scarier Anaconda builds that could do better justice to the Yamata IMO. Hopefully a bigger ship than the Anaconda comes out.. As ahiredgun said, its about half the size of the Yamata. But as you seemed to imply, as long as you are having fun then that's all that matters, but bringing in historical ships like that will certainly cause some disagreement.

I'm not close minded and neither is anyone else that doesn't share your opinion. That is rediculus reven jus sayin'. As for the build I would rather have a size seven pros sheild and smother it with a rated sheild boosters as you can shield tank the hell out of this ship without the fear of power!

@ the bigger ship comment the federal corvette is 33% bigger and has had the hardpoint placement details released. ( 2 huge, 3 large, and 2 medium. )

Apparently the Newsletter was wrong, they corrected it on facebook. The Federal corvette is supposedly going to have 2 small, 2 medium, 1 large, 2 huge. And Judging by the render that was shown it's going to have at least 6 Utility slots. As the top of the render showed 6 locations for utility slots. Possibly more underneath.

They changed it in the newsletter as well but the typo wasn't that... Hmm a ship bigger than the conda geared towards combat with less capability... Yuck
