Summary
System: Kuwembaa
Station: Gagnan Port (Ocellus Starport, large pads available, 403 Ls from main star, 159.76 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Hand in Combat Bonds after fighting for New Kuwembaa Labour in Conflict Zones
Time limit: 12th August 3307 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
The Federation is fighting to prevent further factions from declaring independence in the Kuwembaa system.
New Kuwembaa Labour has broken ties with the Federation in protest against the government’s civil surveillance programme. Governor Sonal Mishra, the leader of New Kuwembaa Labour, has requested assistance from the galactic community:
The Federal Accord is no longer fit for purpose. We require support to make a stand against this violation of our constitutional rights.
Three other Federal factions - Selkana Labour, United HIP 108095 Values Party and Mutumu Future - are considering becoming independent entities, depending on the result of the Kuwembaa conflict. These factions currently control 28 systems in total.
New Kuwembaa Labour has offered credit rewards to any pilots willing to help secure its independence by handing in Combat Bonds at Gagnan Port in the Kuwembaa system.
  • Should New Kuwembaa Labour match tiers with Li Chotep for Equality, its independence will be confirmed.
  • Should New Kuwembaa Labour end one tier ahead of Li Chotep for Equality, then Selkana Labour will declare independence.
  • Should New Kuwembaa Labour end two tiers ahead of Li Chotep for Equality, then United HIP 108095 Values Party will also declare independence.
  • Should New Kuwembaa Labour end three tiers ahead of Li Chotep for Equality, then Mutumu Future will also declare independence.
The two factions have set out seven-day campaigns, which will end when the top tier is reached by either faction or early on Thursday the 12th of August 3307.
To be eligible for rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Combat Bonds at Gagnan Port in the Kuwembaa system. Only combat bonds handed in after signing up will count toward your personal contribution total.
Please note that if you have any crew members, a portion of your combat bonds will be automatically assigned to them. These combat bonds will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for their bonds when they are handed in. The proportion of combat bonds assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Gagnan Port is at planet A 1
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Black Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel

@GraphiteGB Apparently they should already be there - have they not spawned?

[edit]OK, looks like the CZs might not have worked so they are investigating getting that fixed ASAP[/edit]

Conflict zone CG PSA Thursday 5 August 3307
To sign up can require a "launcher" shut down, not just the active client shut down in EDO

To hand in combat bonds requires a ship...

You must sign up for a side first in the conflict zone... (Now enabled)

EDO on foot zones can earn the bonds, but you need to go to the hand in station, not the on foot base on planets
SRV have way more killing power, so players use them to get to high bond values faster, so less time needs to be invested to stay in 10% bracket ...
Fdev changed on foot Conflict zone to include rocket men with the rocket launcher, it may not be as quick as it was with SRV now

EDO players have an advantage over EDH only players in collecting bonds in SRV...

EDO has the negative of using SRV over a ship...

High conflict zones in space, if present Should generate an easy fed capital ship to make run away... (confirmed)
E8HWzwgX0AM0ix-

High conflict zones can generate corvette captain ship... based on your weapons and its shields, these may be able to run before hull is zero. If FSD drive dies they can reboot it...if power plant drops to 0 they can still jump, if engines/thrusters reaches zero they can't jump and drift in space. The risk and choice is yours to take on to engage or not...

You are there for combat bonds, not to win rounds if the objective per zone takes time away from getting combat bonds then you may want to ignore them...
You will face engineered fed ships with a full choice of items this includes
Prismatics shields
Phasing beam lasers.
Human tech broker dumb fire missiles
Corrosive ammo using ships. (if you lose your shields this eats your hull.)

Final level 8 tier target as of Thursday is 96,000,000,000 (subject to change at Fdevs will, on any day up to Monday when It's normally then locked.)

Massacre missions are available to take from Ship based mission boards for bonus pay per kill. Wing missions normally require fewer kills for more money and can still be done solo, Solo Massacre missions kills pay less if you're going to pick them watch the time limits they normally will expire after a day so if you plan to not play for a few days don't take these missions and then quit before they complete as when you come back they will have expired...
This of sets the pay for EDH vs EDO, but the combat bonds are faster in EDO as this bonus pay is cash only, not combat bonds.
These do not stack for completion at the same time as there from the same faction... the first mission needs completion before the kills move on to the next mission...

Ship kills rewards are RNG

For EDO, the reward is shown in full on the kill in top right... the multiplier is already applied before the text shows...
For EDH the reward is still shown as the base value on kill at top right. The multiplier is applied in the transaction tab only still.

Now go kick those Feds backsides out of systems...

For this side of the CG you will hand in at the station. (no megaship. no planet bases)

Oh did you kill the launcher and restart as well... dam thats laggy servers for EDO again...
Old EDO bug took restarts to fix last time...
Restard kind of fixed it, because now I wasn't able to look inside the system at all, as I've never visited it before...

but I now know what happened and where's the bug.
When you open Galnet and read about the conflict - there's a shortcut button with system name.
After clicking it it showed me this incomplete map - probably incomplete only if you've never been there - untill you restart the game, that bugged system map is then also available from galaxy map.

Sure 👆. But Galnet links may not be the only problem.
Maybe try selling the system data to a cartographer. 20 ly away. Then, when you get a buggy relog, it will still show up in nav. Otherwise, it would be as if you never had been to the system. Selling to your own FC, or someone else's may not be effective when it is a NEW dataset.

Stuff ED does poorly after a hand-touched modifier (cg assets).
