Summary
System: T Tauri
Station: Hind Mine (Asteroid Base, large pads available, 1,619 Ls from main star, 595.22 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Hand in Combat Bonds after fighting for Taurus Mining Ventures in Conflict Zones
Time limit: 18th November 3307 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
The megaship Musashi is commanded by Aegis’s chief military liaison Admiral Aden Tanner, who made this announcement:
The Hind Mine asteroid base contains proof that Salvation’s unlicensed anti-xeno weapon is intentionally designed to provoke the Thargoids, and therefore endangers us all. As Taurus Mining Ventures refuses to cooperate, we have no choice but to obtain the evidence by force.
This may be our only opportunity to discover Salvation’s true ambitions. I urge all independent pilots who have fought alongside Aegis to help us complete this vital mission.
Patience Middleton, a spokesperson for Taurus Mining Ventures, responded:
This is an illegal attack that jeopardises the important work we are undertaking on behalf of Salvation. It is in the galactic community’s interests to defend our corporate headquarters.
Taurus Mining Ventures have asked pilots to support their efforts to repel Aegis by handing in Combat Bonds at the Hind Mine in the T Tauri system.
The two factions have set out seven-day campaigns, which will end when the top tier is reached or early on Thursday the 18th of November 3307.
To be eligible for rewards, you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Combat Bonds at the Hind Mine in the T Tauri system.
Please note that if you have any crew members, a proportion of your combat bonds will be automatically assigned to them. These combat bonds will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for these combat bonds when they are handed in. The proportion of combat bonds assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Competing with Aegis Defence CG
  • Musashi is at planet A 1
  • Base services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Social Space

It's not. If this Salvation was working for the good of all humanity, why monopolize the tech and veil themselves in complete secrecy.

It's ridiculous that they don't offer a single word of explanation yet demand the whole galaxy to follow their every order.

Time to come clean.
Still waiting on Aegis to explain why they decided to load the Alexandria in Thargoid territory and then tried to drag a massive Thargoid force towards Sol, myself... but you are not wrong about Salvation needing to be more transparent too. I just wish we didn't have to trust Aegis to potentially achieve it. This CG will be very interesting regardless of the outcome, I think...

I think that was because the plot demanded it. 😄
Like building a death star with a huge "blow me up here" vent.

Both are bad news, provoking Thargoids for their own gains.
It's a shame that a Thargoid translator isn't a reward, we could tell them that we come in peace and are happy to share their galaxy.
We can't exactly tell them that while Aegis is still around trying to provoke them for their own gains, though. Gotta get that space oil.

Aegis and Salvation are just different sides of the same coin, both hellbent on whipping us all up in to a murder frenzy as they enjoy murdering innocent creatures.

I partly want to play this CG from both sides to give both opponents a kicking, and partly want to leave it as I don't want either to win.

Suffer not the Xenos to live. Purge 'em all.

Community actually think about this one. With aegis did we get any new weapons, tech and such that where better than the stock versions of themselves? If aegis is so powerful then why are they scared of salvation? Surely they should be working with them not against them? What proof does aegis have?

Im not saying salvation is innocent but let's be honest aegis are no better but atleast we get new tools
