Shawshank, from start to finish a stunning movie, Zulu is a close second for me as classic Michael Caine is always worth watching.

theres another option.. i cant beleive i missed this one..

Deadly, But very fluffy...

Easy one this week, same order, Shawshank(seen at least eight times!) Zulu(probably more, watched at cinema in Edinburgh when i was a kid, twice in a row) and then for me next and love..... silent Running!

Well of those above I've seen Zulu is my favourite. Hard to believe that the RSM in Zulu is the same guy that played Dalby in The Ipcress File.

"Shoot - Ross!"

Silent running sounds novel though - wasn't that a title for a submarine film too?

no your thinking of the Jamaican Bob Sleigh team (heheh)..

Yes I think there was a silent running sub movie, what was it called it wasn't silent running... it was Run Silent, run deep? no it was something else..

i'll get back to you on that if it clicks in my heed

Umm - wasn't that cool running?

But yes I think you're right - it probably was Run Silent Run Deep

It's got to be one or both of these

and the 1st rule of Film Club is, you don't talk about Film Club
the 2nd rule of Film Club is, YOU. DON'T. TALK. ABOUT. FILM. CLUB.

Well I guess it a big film day then...

I will try to catch both too... Silent Running I may need to record to fit in hospital visiting.. but shawshank I am looking forward to...

Tim Robbins YAY!
