Final build for now...

I understand peoples worries before the launch and i'am quite sure that this is not the final release we have seen yet... The final version (for now) are probably being showed at jun 10 at the livestream...[noob]

While I have certain reservations (as well as excitment) about the game I cant make any real judgements (positive or negative) until I actually see and play the final actual build at launch. Until then its all really just speculation on potential older builds and what not, and I don't know what info to actually trust now. I look forward to playing the game when it comes out and experience the game for my own eyes:)

I don't even really care anymore. The game is going to be great despite what the mob of whiners here and on reddit say. It's going to be a huge improvement over JPOG. If people can't see that then they must be blinded by nostalgia and their minds fogged up with unrealistic expectations Frontier never promised.

Expecting them to make huge fixes to the game less than a week from the launch is absurd. I think some of the whining and complaining could be stopped if some of the console players had a better understanding of Frontiers reputation as a developer. Cause not everyone plays ED obviously and that would be the only exposure some of the console people would have with Frontier as a developer. Planet Coaster is a PC exclusive. Maybe if they understood that Frontier is a good developer and doesn't plan to just dump a bad game on them then maybe they wouldn't be that upset.

Frontier supports their games after launch. They are a good experienced developer. The game will be supported after launch with updates that fix and upgrade things and they will support the game with DLC. If they want to wait to buy the game they can. I think this is mostly a trust issue and if they knew Frontiers reputation a lot of them wouldn't be so unhappy.

I said in a pervious post that Planet Coaster wasn't perfect on launch and this game has a lot more going on with it. This game isn't full of a bunch of static rides. People aren't keeping things in perspective IMO. Planet Coaster was fixed over time. Of course I am not saying it was an unplayable mess. I know the way paths are put down was fixed later on, cause the players asked for it. To expect a game to be perfect on launch is not realistic these days and it hasn't been for along time, over a decade I believe. We all would like to get games that are perfect on launch day but that isn't how it goes.

So you can either get the game now and play it and enjoy seeing all the issues fixed over time or you can buy it later on when all the issues are fixed. Which most of them I don't consider major issues anyway. If they don't stop you from playing and completing a game then they aren't that big of a deal and will be fixed over time. Major game breaking bugs take priority over smaller issues.

I agree with you completely and I trust that Frontier will keep improving the game and look into the requests of the community.

Yes I am so excited for this game!! I've been waiting so long for another JP/JW game. From what I've seen so far Frontier Development has done an amazing job in creating a stunning game giving me that great JP/JW feeling and that is exactly what I wanted.

Our dev team is still pushing daily and sometimes hourly builds to our QA / Dev channel and then over to our Steam dev profile.

The Xbox and Playstation 4 platforms are slightly delayed in getting rapid updates due to said build having to also pass certification with said platform teams at Sony and Microsoft. Just the name of the game there with that. :D

I am fairly sure the build you will see at E3 will not be the same version/build ID that is the final release version. :)

Does that mean that the ps4 and xbox one versions will be different than the pc one at launch?

It isn't consul players. It is people in general that think it takes a few seconds to add something.

I figured more PC gamers would be aware of Frontier than console players. Cause Planet Coaster is only on PC and ED started out on the PC first then was moved over to consoles. People who play ED on consoles would be aware of Frontier. But people just interested in the JP/W franchise might not be. So yeah it's not just console players. But I figured they would be most of the people that don't know about Frontier as a developer.

Would be great if sony offered the same support to all developers as they do for there own studios.
When God of War was released there was a patch pushed out everyday for over a week, only small about 40mb each. But tbh this was the only time i have seen so many patches released so quickly for a game on ps4, i guess they wanted to get as many fixes done while the majority are still playing.
I dont recall a single bug or a crash in the more than 50 hrs i played the game.

Off topic but hoping to see some footage or more info about the console version before the game is released , i know one of my issues has been answered, dino or park size cap/limit, but would like to see it running on ps4 before i purchase. Has there been any ps4 videos released ?
