Final Mega DLC

I think that with the release of Eurasia DLC the total number of animals reached in the game is 180

If there was only one more DLC, would you consider a Mega DLC to reach 200 animals?

What animals would you like to see?. This would be my list
  1. Ethiopian Wolf (EN)
  2. Spectacled Bear (VU)
  3. Markhor (NT)
  4. Matschie’s Tree-kangaroo (EN)
  5. Southern Elephant Seal (LC)
  6. Sea Otter (EN)
  7. Black-footed Ferret (EN)
  8. Panther Chameleon (LC) [Exhibit]
  9. Thorny Devil (LC) [Exhibit]
  10. Golden Lion Tamarin (EN)
  11. Lion-tailed Macaque (EN)
  12. Macaws spp [WE] (Spix's [EW]; Great Green [CR]; Hyacinth [VU]; Blue and Yellow [LC]; Scarlet [LC]) ---- Some similar like the butterflies
  13. Alligator Snapping Turtle (VU)
  14. Patagonian Mara (NT)
  15. Rhinoceros (VU) or Gaboon Viper (VU) [Exhibit]
  16. Chinese Crocodrile Lizard (EN) [Exhibit]
  17. Waterfowl spp [African Pygmy Goose (LC); Mandarin Duck (LC); Peruvian Pelican (NT); Shoebill (VU); Roseate Spoonbill (LC)] ---- Some similar like the butterflies
  18. Ocellated Turkey (NT)
  19. Helmeted Guineafowl (LC)
  20. Grévy’s Zebra (EN) or Giant Eland (VU)

4: Scarlet Ibis
5: Golden Pheasant / Lady Amherst Pheasant
6: Victoria Crowned Pigeon
7: Leopard Seal
8: Gerenuk
9: Honey Badger

12: Tree Kangaroo
13: Muntjac
14: Musk Ox
15: Blackbuck
16: Markhor
17: Gelada
18: Aye-Aye
19: Any Pelican
20: Howler Monkey

There are perfect (looking-at least, not behaving) MODS for Shoebill, Victoria Crowned Pigeon, Gerenuk, Echidna, Markhor and Aye-Aye, the other animals in my list however, have HORRID mods, so please create new better improved mods for those or bring them into the game)

Also nice: Mountain Goat / Grey Crowned Crane / Elephant Seal / Manatee / Alligator Snapping Turtle / Mara / Snow Rabbit / Serval / Ocelot / Chamois / Aoadad / Bighorn Sheep / Nile Crocodile / Perentie / Marine Iguana / Rhea / Dik-Dik / Gaur / Coati / Pallas Cat / Indian Giant Squirrel / Roadrunner / Lyrebird / Sifaka / Marabou Stork / Tamandua / Giant Armadillo / Kudu / Eland / Bush Dog / Wapiti / Pere Davis Deer / Rockhopper / Puffin / Black Swan / Mandarin Duck / Torrent Duck / Spoonbill / Ground Hornbill / Fishing cat / Baboon / Aardwolf / Rock Wallaby / Nilgai / Kakepo / Capercaillie / Alpaca / Wild Yak / Musk Deer / Hammerkop

And that is it, my AGAINST VOTES (I will HATE it if they add it) List:
Another Tiger / Lion / Giraffe / Leopard / Brown Bear / Black Bear / Zebra / Flamingo or whatever MEGA ULTRA Clone aninal out there.
House-Garden-Kitchen Goat, Chicken, Duck, Pig, Cow, Horse for people that want some petting zoo.
White Stork or any Herron, or any other bird I see outside in the Netherlands. Gooses are also not my thing, sorry.

I keep trying to come up to just 20 animals but i always end up with a lot of important ones being left out 🫤

I think there is no scenario in which i would be completly happy but if a max DLC includes at least 5 SA animals + 5-6 birds at the very least i'll be pretty content so with that in mind:

1. SA coati
2. Greater rhea
3. Patagonian mara
4. Black howler monkey
5. Ocelot

(Those are my must have 5 animals for LATAM)

1. Pelican (Brown)
2. Grey crowned crane
3. Duck (Mandarín)
4. Pheasant (Golden)
5. Secretary bird
6. Scarlet ibis

(The very basic of birds i need but mostly the pelican, duck, pheasant and crane; the other two would be nice bonuses)

That makes 11, so the rest i would fill with highly requested animals from around the world

1. Palla's cat
2. Musk ox
3. Tree kangaroo
4. Short beaked echidna
5. Hamadryas baboon
6. Blackbuck
7. Markhor

The exhibits: i don't believe we are getting flying birds so i'll go with the basic we are missing. I ditched the cobra un favor of chameleons and one more WTE animal:

1. Exhibits: Chameleons
2. WTE: idk. I really don't want another sloth and while smaller bats would be nice to have i don't think they should take the last spot in the WTE. If one kind of flying bird in a vacum then hummingbirds would be a perfect fit but since i said no flying birds maybe something more unique like slow loris or sugar glider?

So we get:

  • 7 birds (including duck, pelican, colorful SA bird and common ground dwelling african bird)
  • 3 carnivores
  • 3 ungulates
  • 1 marsupial
  • 1 monotreme (the one kind missing)
  • 2 primates (one NW monkey and one baboon)

Almost all of the top 10 in the metawishlist and some shameful omissions from previous packs (Palla's cat, markhor, NW monkey, baboon, tree kangaroo)

Some pick could be switched for some other species (like the ocelot for another NW primate or something like the Southern Tamandua) but this is the line up that would make me at least content.

I'm aware of the lack of habitat reptiles but i can't see what animal replace in favor of them when they are: another croc (Nile), another monitor (perentie) and another large tortoise (Sulcata).

I'd definitely be up for a " Mega" final release. Even if it meant waiting until May or so before release.

20 animals (exhibit in red, birds in blue), and I'd focus half on Latin America, with two exhibits:

White Nosed Coatimundi
Ocelot (if it were my own personal want I'd switch out for the Brazilian Porcupine but the Ocelot seems like it'll likely show up and the Porcupine would take a lot of resources)
Spectacled Bear
Patagonian Mara
Black Howler Monkey
Guianan Squirrel Monkey
Scarlet Ibis
Greater Rhea

Golden Lion Tamarin
Linaeaus's Two Toed Sloth

The other half would focus on a more global theme, visiting the other continents with birds and other fairly highly requested animals. Two exhibits for this section as well.

Musk Ox (instead of ABB since that would be two bears for one pack)
Wild Turkey
Mandarin Duck

Markhor
Secretary Bird
Hamadryas Baboon (if it were my wants only I'd substitute the Eurasian Otter but I know the community would riot)
Australian Pelican
Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
King Cobra
Panther Chameleon

I really wanted to get my own #1 bird in there, the Shoebill, but put in the much more requested Secretary Bird instead. The other sub I thought about for it was the Mandarin Duck but I realize how much a Duck would give modders to work with.

That gives us 6 more birds, 8 more Latin American habitat animals, and 5 of the 6 long running hold outs of the highly discussed animals remaining (the Walrus being the only one to not make it in)

Getting it to "over 200" animals - pick between: Shoebill, Eurasian Otter, Nile Crocodile or Masai Giraffe. Or, maybe they would work for an anniversary animal instead.

I feel like everyone will be happy with a pack like this. Giving us most of the wanted animals from the Meta Wishlist (except the Secretary Bird).
A fairly balanced lineup between continents and different kinds of animals. 16 Habitat Animals, 3 exhibit and 1 walkthrough exhibit.

Would be a decent option to include!

My only regret is I couldn’t find a place for domestics or rabbits without sacrificing something, at the most I’m willing to sacrifice a bear. I really want to keep the animal diversity though. So only bears I could go without.

Nooooo mara is great as well. Maybe rhea could come as anniversary and everyone's happy 🤗

I would swap the rockhopper for the secretary though. I love them and actually would be the only other people guin i'll be happy with but we have three penguins already and secretary is number one in metawishlist and much more unique.
