I should not have said Gaur, somehow I thought they would pop up and I thought the curveball would have been another otter not the ASCO
Everyone got capybara correct. Good amount suggested red crowned crane. A lot said ASCO. Some had water buffalo.
I honestly was not expecting (I don’t think anyone was) Nile Lechwe or the newt. Honestly wasn’t hoping for a new caiman.
plus I figured it was time for a dlc that is no longer region specific.

Wait, I can't believe I actually managed to guess two of the animals despite being 100% off base with the theme. I'll take it!

I don't think wetlands will be the theme though, and I'm not convinced at all that a capybara is coming (beyond the vague notion that they can also use hot springs, there's no reason to believe they're on the roster yet). I still think Asia is more likely; it's the only continent we haven't had a dedicated pack for (SEA doesn't count, it was regionalised to a specific biosphere).
