Finally - got my own Anaconda :)

Given I'm a casual player this really feels like a special moment.



Just a very basic D grade fit out for now, that alone has left me with 15 mil in the bank for rebuys should the worst happen. Kitting her out properly will take me a LONG time but I'm looking forward to having a big and very capable multirole ship at my disposal. Might also encourage me to stop picking on NPC's in Haz Res areas too...

I'm going to head back to Achenar and get into some missions and then hopefully get some cash back under my belt. I'm feeling pretty damn poor all of a sudden. :D

Congratulations! I will get one later on myself.
Right now I switch between an Asp Explorer for missions and Robigo runs, and a A-outfitted Federal Assault Ship for Haz Res bounty hunting. I have tried a lot of ships, but those are my favorites!
Next up will be a fully specced Orca for passenger missions in the new DLC. :-D
And after that? Anaconda I guess. I have to try it!

Congrats on the Anaconda, when I had mine we didn't really get along and I went back to my Clipper after a week.
I didn't like the bridge being so far back and seeing the long front end out of my screen, but that's just a personal issue

Congratulations.
Advise getting yourself down to LTT 8517 and do some Imperial Slave trading to bring in around 3300/ton (crop harvesters back bring you 230-500/ton too so 3800 per round trip is achievable) - maximise your cargo space and you'll be able to kit her out in no time ;)

congratulations! I just got mine on last monday. As well with an D-Outfitting. Now im off to find Meta Alloys in Maia. It really looks great when parked on a planet...

Congratulations on the Conda, I used slaves one way and gold on return between YAB CAMALO & IGAL my Conda is still there parked up :)

Cheers all. Like I say she's only D graded bar the A rated FSD and hardly kitted out for anything other than basic trading. Might take a trip out into the black given the new jump range. I imagine a few tweaks to get an explorer build wouldn't be too expensive.

That said - probably will try a few of the runs you're all suggesting. Need to make a few quid to weaponise her - she's naked at the moment haha!

Mining is also an excellent option, I didn't realize this until the last mining cg. With a pair of 2d mining lasers, a 10 bin refinery and a 3 limpet controller, you can make quite a bit in a short amount of time, provided you can find some pristine rings to mine.

Pahahaha reps for you! Iveveen around here long enough to know the golden rule. I very nearly caved in and bought her last week but that would have meant no rebuy. Tempting but I'd need months worth of play time to get back to where I was. Not worth it ;)

Hey well done, they make great armed mining ships btw, two medium MLs the rest being pulse laser turrets and enough shields/defences to make a quick exit should things go badly... Pristine metallic ring at LHS-2661 planet 6 one jump away from a large industrial system well within the bubble (stack some mining missions for double bubble rewards and quick trader ranking).

So much fun to take into NPC battles. With the Conda, it was my first experience using turret weapons.
