Finally sold the last of the opinion polls. Man, Kit Fowler was gatekeeping a lot of engineering unlock progress. I had everything else for everyone beyond him.

I opted out of the bubble foot engineers and went to Colonia. They are so much easier to unlock.
Congratulations! Getting all 10 on your first day is very impressive, I only have 5 after a day on my alt so you are twice as efficient. Then again I haven't started looking for Opinion Polls yet ....
Oh my friend. Not all 10 on a first day at all.
More like first year or however long Odessey has been out.
Now I need a few more defense plans and those genetic meds.
EDIT: LOL, well I had the meds already just didn't notice.

Oh, and if anyone cares, a super easy way to get settlement defense plans:
Find a system at war
Access the missions from in your ship, starport services (ie not the on foot missions)
Find missions titled "wartime salvage, surface salvage of x items" maybe not exactly that wording..
Careful as there are wartime salvage in space versions as well.
These send you to a surface POI usually called "minor wreckage" with no threat indicator.
These POIs last 7 days or so so you can log out to main menu and rinse and repeat.
There are 2x downed satellites, both with data ports, with a lot of the following available;
Manufacturing instructions
Operation manuals
Ballistics data
Settlement Defense Plans
Plus a few others
By far the easiest way to get 'em, as in 10 months I only got 3 in a "just play the game" method.
