Most likely though I haven't seen anything other than player speculation on this topic so it truly is anyone's best guess at this point. We also can't forget that PC players are technically grouped into the console side because of the steamdeck compatibility as well. I remember when they first mentioned that it could be played on steamdeck last year that I thought that was a cool idea but I was very much mistaken after seeing the released product in November and just how much I found frustration and anger in place of joy when trying to play it on my PC. The way I like to design and build, I have to use my mouse/keyboard with my nice monitor so I will never be playing (nor have I ever) this game on my steamdeck. And this capability for the deck concerns me that it will not allow for PC to have the most optimal UI similar to PlanCo and PlanZoo.Why was Steam Workshop used for the first game on PC but all console versions and PC2 use Frontier's own workshop? Is it because the console versions can't use Steam and Frontier wanted PC2 to be cross compatible between console and PC hence the different UI and the use of the Frontier Workshop instead of Steam for the PC version?
