Finding a conflict zone

Hi.

Took a massacre mission and can't seem to find the CZ I need. I've gone to where it used to be and it aint there no more. Tried the nav beacon and got a message through saying no joy. It's a system with only a few planets and I've scanned them all. Tried fss mode, but that gives me nothing.

Ideas?

Yup. You're right. Just checked on INARA and since I took the mission, it ended.

Now what? Do I abandon it, or just let it run out?

I'm pretty sure abandoning it and letting it run out have the same result, a loss of rep and (not at all sure about this) maybe a fine. I know I've been fined for abandoned missions before, but don't recall what type they were.

I've had the same thing happen with CZ missions, and it's a bit frustrating, but ultimately the hit from a failed mission is close to meaningless.
