Horizons Finding a specific ship. Cobra MKIV

This was exactly what i wanted it for though I would probably have made a miner out of it later.. Planned to put a KWS on it and all the cargo racks it would hold and a 2G Hanger/SRV. wander a planet looking for elements and picking up salvage and when I found a ship sitting on the surface that the preliminary scan says WANTED, bring the MkIV down and make a kill for a bounty.
The MK3 does this but with less than half the cargo space.
My AspX does it with almost as much cargo space but usually lands farther away because it is bigger making the salvage collection tedious.
Nope, Really would like the DEV's to make another opening for the MKIV..

I would love to have one. For now, I like using a keelback for material gathering. I love having a fighter escort!

I have access to it and have found it a very useful passenger ship. I used it to buy and fit, my FDL; in no time.

I believe that the majority would be OK with other; non exclusive buyers, getting access to it.

However: No amount of voting or approval from those having access to it; would stop F.D. being open to law suits.

Design and release a different small ship with 8 optional compartments and 2 seats. How about a Dolphin X with a single medium on top, an additional optional compartment, and a Crew seat behind the pilot?

BTW, I didn't suggest unlimited release.. Maybe make it available to people that buy the "Lifetime Expansion pass".

That last part won't work, as everyone who has a LEP has the ship by default.

I have been looking and I cannot figure out how to get the Lifetime Expansion Pass.. It appears to have been discontinued.

They are, or were; teasers to entice investment in the future game. Which for some, at this time; makes that a very expensive ship.

Well.. Read a lot of pros/cons on the LEP.. Yes there are some that are miffed at Frontier because they seemed to expect a lot more "specials". There are probably an equal number that are quite happy simply having the Cobra and the few specials that are available and the peace of mind that they will get every expansion the DEV's put out..

Now, I think, since I expect to play this game until I am 100 years old (yes I expect and plan to live that long and that made it hard for me to decide which SIFi character to select for a game name), That would mean the next 30 years of playing would only cost me 10$/year. I have been playing less than 2 years and already have 40$ invested and the annual pass is 20$/yr. The LEP looks like a really,, REALLY good deal..

I just hope the DEV's don't muck it up by twisting the game into something that becomes linear whit specific things that MUST be done to keep playing. The introduction of the Targoids, concerns me in that I am not interested in playing a never ending war game.

I bought the LEP on my first account - in effect it has turned out to so far mean that Horizons for that account cost £120. I am not complaining but I did honestly expect to have had more than one paid update in these three years. That, I think, is what irks those LEP peeps who you see complaining.

The only reason LEP holders have access to the Cobra MkIV is that they had qualified as having effectively bought Horizons before the qualifying date. I have a non-LEP account that did presale of horizons so that gets the MkIV.

I don't think there is any feature that the LEP qualified for exclusively, Black Friday paint jobs for example were just date-qualifying etc. I have an account that has the mercenary pack (repaints, decal, free eagle, digital art-book and Beta access) LEP has no special repaint, decal or free ship (it does have Beta though).

I have in the past suggested that they could offer the qualification for CobraMkIV as a reward in a Community Goal, I think that might be a good way to get it to the PS4 crowd.
