Newcomer / Intro Finding Abanoned Settlements in the Colonia region

about how to get materials from abandoned settlements without fighting any of those poncey raider types. Sounds good to me. Thing is, the Thargoid War is not only mainly over, but it's 22,000Ly from me and finding settlements like that are going to be difficult, I would think. That is, finding 'abandoned settlements' and/or places where there are no Jobsworth traffic wardens scaning you at every opportunity. Because they can.

So does anyone please have any tips on this, for someone in the Colonia system? Money is not an object as I have plenty of that.

Also, does anyone know of a tutorial video or thread where they explain basic stuff like access levels, how to get into buildings and things like that? It's not only a steep learning curve for on-foot stuff, the environment can also be pretty merciless when all you want to do is to learn basically how to walk. You need time to work out what things do and how they do it. So, any good tips, please?

look up google colonia interesting star systems that should give you some to go to ,but fit a fuel scoop of course.

Be aware that since Power Play 2 launched there are reports of an issue where loot is not appearing at settlements in systems that aren’t part of Power Play, such as the whole of Colonia.
