I have a vive and cv1.. out of the box im disapointed with the CV1 with all software tried (not just ED), blurred image, perceived low dynamic range, unclear, eyestrain, (not that comfy) fresnells.. for me its been muffed up by the choice of fresnells i would pay good money to fix with glass lenses! The vive's better!
Are you kidding? My Rift is WAY better than the Vive for anything except roomscale. You just aren't using it correctly!
Heh must be a case of horses blinkers for courses (does that work as a thing?) hmm :-/
IMO I expected the CV1 to be better than Vive in clarity but for me its not. The CV1 has a small blurriness that my eyes are constantly searching for focus and cant get it whereas the Vive appears pin sharp :-/
Im hoping driver updates will correct some issues in time because its a $900 mantle queen ATM..
..although i have been running CV1 thru the Vive link box, when i get some more wires ill give the CV1 the HDMI and Vive DP..
I don't get it how it can be so different from one person to another?! ...must be the facial/eyes differences
