First Interceptor Kill

After the Thargoid Device at Delphi refused to power up even after I gave it all the stuff it wanted and scanned it, I decided the Thargoids needed to pay for wasting some of my time. Yes I am not above being petty. So I got the Gauss Cannons and some other Guardian stuff and went hunting. Once I figured it out, it wasn’t TOO difficult to take down my first Interceptor, even if it was just a Cyclops. I still feel accomplished. Those things were utterly terrifying when I first got Hyperdicted, and now I can actually take one down, and I did it in a Clipper of all things.

My ship lived up to the motto of the vessel she’s named for.

Thanks, and yeah I’m aware the Clipper isn’t the greatest Thargoid hunter, but she’s the ship I love to fly the most and the one thats carried me through the game from the start. So I figured it would be fitting to take down my first Interceptor with her.

That’s fine. You know the shortcomings and make an informed choice to get your own enjoyment. It is a game after all so don’t let anyone ruin your fun. Just saying that doing it in a Clipper adds a bit of extra to your kill. (It is also far from being the worst possible choice ...)

Reminds me I need to re-spec my Chieftain and learn how to cold-orbit.

So far I've relied on my Corvette and brute force, but that won't take me any further than a Cyclops.

It's going to be a learning curve for sure, and a moderately terrifying one using a shieldless build where things can go very wrong very quickly!
