First "official" ED review

Since there were almost no changes form Gamma to launch, I feel like they have had plenty of time to test out the features of the game. Honestly it really doesn't take too long to test out the combat (Piracy, Bounty Hunting and Conflicts), Trading (smuggling and trading), Exploration and mining.

All in all it seems like a very fair and thorough review.

I'd agree with almost everything in that review tbh, although i've found that trade info to be in the most part usable and accurate.

Another shining example as to why "professional reviewers" simply can't be trusted. to call that article a "review" is a gross exxageration. No mention of the plethora of bugs, broken features or issues people are having on release day. No mention of broken promises or "unexplained changes" made by FD. But the "reviewer" did go out of his way to promise improvements (without any evidence to support it) "sometime in the future".

Yeah, almost as if this game isn't constant repeating of the same profitable action and lack of any variety of gameplay. ^^ haha It's this funny feeling I sometimes get.

No need for sarcasm, I totally agree. This game has a good framework, but is sorely lacking in actual content.

Very thoughtful, objective sounding and thorough review. All jokes about it being played to completion aside, it is clear they played enough of it (maybe they had beta access?) to know what they did to write the article. 7/10 is an honest score and I agree.

I'm sorry, it's just that everybody around here is so aggressively defending the game rather than pointing out the obvious flaws, it makes me a little bitter towards the hardcore fanbase of the game.

I really tried to like the game, played it since Beta 1, never complained because as everybody kept chanting "It's just a Beta, what do you expect, stop your complaining". Now they ridicule and make fun of people who have real legitimate complaints and shrugging off any constructive criticism with "Don't like it, don't play it.".

The game has huge flaws, in many areas, most of it broken/unbalanced mechanics. I have logged around a 100 hours into this game, tried every type of activity and can say without a reasonable doubt that this game is just simply boring and unrewarding.

That's why it got a 7, and not a 9 or a 10 like all the fanboys claim it should get. Though I agree, the fanboys of this game are ridiculous. Any criticism that gets posted on Reddit get's downvoted hard and it is frustrating for people who want to point out ways to make this a better game.
