Five planets, one barycenter

I vaguely recall there having been some posts about such, but can't seem to find them. So, I came across five planets all orbiting the same barycenter, around a single class K star, in a mass code C system. I'll post the system name once I sell the data (will probably be at least a couple of weeks), but in the meantime, here's how they all look:

Album with all the planetary data can be found at https://imgur.com/a/h9MmHDs

Quite far from the star. Thanks to the distance and all having quite thin pure nitrogen atmospheres, they are all quite cold; the sixth planet out is actually considerably warmer, thanks to having a thick atmosphere (99.9% nitrogen, 0.07% methane, 1154.13 atm, 141 K.)
Pity that none of these are landable, but I think it's a cool find nonetheless.

Pretty sure it was CMDR Allitnil who posted the 5 bodies around 1 barycenter some time ago - until then I'd believed 4 was a hard limit in StellarForge. Been hunting for one ever since but no luck, so I'm hugely jealous :).

Congrats :)

I wonder is 6 around 1 barycenter is possible...

Strangely found a 4 body example just yesterday ...

But 5 is very impressive !!

Thanks! Even more rare than I thought? Sweet.
I forgot that there's an asteroid base that's not a big detour, so I should be able to get the system tagged and share it tomorrow, rather than weeks later (as I first wrote).

Nice find Rep+1 I've never had even a "sniff" of such a system off my own bat, always following in others footsteps. Looking forward to your "naming" post, I'll go have a look-see.
It's systems like these that cry out for the ED Orrery discussed back in the dim past.

Nice o7

As promised, the system name: M36 Sector RI-T c3-5. It's roughly 4,200 ly South, going from the bubble towards the NGC 1931 nebula. Data's up on EDSM and EGO, although I couldn't get the orrery sorted yet - will try again later.

Also, a thought that occurred to me: it's interesting how different the planets look, despite their atmospheres, composition and type being exactly the same. I wonder what's going on there, and how the game might generate the non-landable barren worlds.

So mine's the only one with only planets in a neat "staircase" configuration? Nice.
I went back to look at the orbit lines (still can't get EGO working), they look quite interesting. Planets 1 and 2 orbit the barycenter quite closely, 1 is tidally locked to it. 3 orbits not far away, on a considerably more elliptic orbit, yet also tidally locked to the barycenter. 4 and 5 are farther away, with especially the latter being quite far from the rest, both on somewhat inclined orbits.

Here's a closer look at 1-3, with 4 also being visible, while 5 only shows up as its orbit line:

That's a great find. Found threes and fours but never this. Don't think I've found a terraformable world even if they orbit the habitable zone.

Oh my. I’m going to need the name of that first system please Alkibiades, once you’ve tagged it. Wow.
