Fix the Loading and Unloading Passenger problem!!!!

what frontier says you're ALLOWED to do

How is this different to any other game out there who doesn't have mod support.

Are there really people out there who took the:

"We build the game together"
so literally that they actually think they have any influence.
Sure they make changes to the game based on suggestions. Yeah, there was a poll about the addition of an ride. But all the rides went in anyways.

Personally, I hope they keep the loading / unloading as it is to provide at least some challenge when building a coaster.
It will become even more boring when changing this.

Sooo new update, nothing changed.... still not playing..... lots of new (brilliant things) but the basics are still not in order...... sad.. very sad..... again will check in with the next update...[sour]

I gave up on this game months ago, but decided to check in and see if frontier has decided to make a game and not just a pretty sandbox.

Yes, this is a valid complaint. Yes, this has been a noted complaint since beta. Yes, frontier isn't going to fix this.

Either this 'game' is a simulation OR a recreation of real life. You can't have both. So far, MOST things in this game are a simulation, so having your guests spend 1 week to exit a ride is not 'realistic' in the overall idea of the simulation.

Making the excuse that 'in real life' blah blah blah doesn't work. THIS IS NOT A REPLICA OF REAL LIFE. It's a simulation. Unless hundreds of people live 3-5 years in a theme park and never go home, there is no justification of 'real life' for the stupidity of the simulation.

The first RollerCoaster Tycoon game had this solved, even with entrances and exits on the same side. It's a stupid design FLAW that this still exists in a game made a decade later, and even after much feedback has been ignored.

I gave up on this 'game' being anything more than a glorified 'paint a park' software, and even looking at things 6 months later it seems that frontier doesn't care about simulation, just making pretty pictures (and ugh... the forum 'regulars' would scare off anyone who isn't in the cult of frontier). Glad you're happy with mediocrity, but don't get angry at people who want more than a half-implemented effort.

Same feeling here!

Well, we'll see this topic pop up again in November then.........

Just staw away from the serious topics where you only come to show us your Frontier Fanboiiiism.

I don't understand how pointing out that the in-game rides' throughput is about the same as in real life is Frontier Fanboiiiism....

About the in-game time.. Notice how all other games like Planet Coaster (RCT,Cities Skylines, Sim City, etc) have sped up time cycles? There is a good reason for this: gameplay. Without this, engaging management gameplay would be non-existing.

Then how about you dont come here sounding like a whiny child because of a game mechanic you think is broke but is not and actually reflect real life data.

You all want a "Simulation" when a simulation is based off real life, get your story straight. You dont buy a racing simulator game and say I want the cars to go faster do you?

We want a realistically looking loading and unloading process for coasters, waterrides and trackrides.

Straight enough for you tyczj...?

So when the people board as other people get off are you then going to complain that the train is just sitting there in the station? (probably)

Keeping real world loading times with your scenario is going to make this happen, its just passing the buck and not changing anything. The current system makes it look less idiotic than a train just sitting there for no reason but to keep with real world loading times because there are no people checking restraints and such

"totally gets bad because" i had a other word for "bad"but it's not allowed....[uhh]

Hmm, this does not look masked swearing to me more like 'controlled' swearing, let's not be too judgemental or PC after all Mikey has been more than fair with his statement!

The Loading/Unloading of guests needs to be address especially the number of guests getting on track rides, very frustrating I am sure Frontier have had a bit of heat over this since the beta and no doubt will address it.

haha almost a year later and still no changes towards this problem is see..... But hey at least you guys now have hotels...and staff rooms [haha][haha][haha][haha]

It's not a problem like a lot of the other things, for me there is absolutely no need for this to be adressed.
And I think the devs think the same way about this.

If it goes to slow, press "O"
